Executive Committee Interviews

Interviews for Executive Committee to be held on Monday night at 2130. (refer to the program)

Available post for secondary orchestra:

Vice-President:
Assists the president in running of the secondary orchestra. Ensure smooth running of each practice as well as in-charge of planning of future events.

Instruments Manager (including an Assistant):
Ensure all instruments are in working condition as well as kept in their respective places.

Assistant Librarian:
Assists the Librarian in making photocopies of new scores. Keeping unused scores properly and keeping order or the library of previous pieces.

Orchestra Manager (including an Assistant):
In-charge of the setting up and keeping of chairs and stands during each practice.

Secretary (including an Assistant):
In-charge of taking attendance before every practice as well as ensuring the notice board is updated.

Student Conductor:
Taking charge of leading the orchestra during the absence of an instructor. Required to be strong in music and preferably a senior member of the Secondary Orchestra.

Final note: Please do not be discouraged if you are a new member of the orchestra. We are looking for an assistant for most roles. You might fit that post and learn something for the future.
